The poorest and most remote parts of India often have inadequate medical facilities, poor health care infrastructure, low-quality health standards and a lack of medical staff. In the Starved for Attention Film “Invisible,” photojournalist Stephanie Sinclair turned her lens on an MSF program in the Darbhanga District of Bihar State which treats children at the epicenter of one of the world’s malnutrition hotspots. These children descend from generations of a chronically under-nourished population, making malnutrition more difficult for MSF workers to spot. Malnutrition in India is so pervasive it is almost invisible.
