I am currently in a doctoral clinical psychology program in southern California and am simultaneously working towards a masters in cross-cultural studies. I was wondering if there are opportunities for psychologists and those in the mental health field to serve within your organization? — Asked by kimberlyrichardson

We send licensed mental health specialists to the field. As a mental health officer for MSF, you may work with people suffering from post-traumatic stress related to a conflict situation, with victims of sexual violence, or with people living with HIV/AIDS. In addition, you could be asked develop a program and to train local mental health workers. Get more information and see what the requirements are here.
