At any one of our emergency response field hospitals, a Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) aid worker might see hundreds of patients a day—severely malnourished children on the brink of starvation; men and women sick with malaria or cholera, or in need of conflict-related trauma surgery.
Many of our field staff will spend this holiday season delivering urgent medical care to men, women, and children who are relying on their help.
For our doctors, nurses, and logistical staff serving in remote and dangerous parts of the world, it’s never easy. But supporters like you make it possible for our emergency response teams to continue their important work to save lives.
But as the holidays approach, you have the opportunity to show your support by sending a message of thanks and encouragement to our teams in the field.
Every year we send small packages of food, periodicals, music, and other gifts to our staff who will be in the field during the holidays
Over the last several years, we’ve also included messages from supporters like you and they told us how touched they were by your words of encouragement.
It doesn’t need to be much—a quick word about why you support Doctors Without Borders, a short thank you for their work to save lives, or even just a simple holiday greeting would mean a lot. Just as long as you send your message by November 14 so we can include it in our holiday packages.
